Meet Our Team

Our team consists of dedicated and hard working Aggies who are undergraduate and graduate students. We are proud of our organization and do our best to represent Texas A&M locally and abroad.

Officer Line

 

Nate Baker

Head Coach

Nate Baker is the Head Coach of Texas A&M Crew. He is from Williamsburg, Virginia, studies Ocean Engineering, is in the Class of 2022, and has been involved in TAMU Crew for three years. Typically, he acts as a coxswain, a rower, and a coach for Crew and aids in the instruction of other members. As the Head Coach, his position is to ensure the safety of each athlete, teach them the sport of rowing, and lead the team at regional regattas. 


Natalie York

Assistant Coach

Natalie York is the Assistant Coach for Texas A&M Crew. She is from San Antonio,TX, studies Ecology and Conservation Biology, and is in the Class of 2021. She has been involved in Crew for 2.5 years. Typically, they act as a Coxswain, Rower, and Coach for Crew and aid in the instruction of other members. As the Assistant Coach, their position is to assist the Head Coach in curating training plans, make decisions for regattas if the Head Coach is absent, and oversee team workouts.



Sarah McQuaid

President

Sarah McQuaid is the President for Texas A&M Crew. She is from Thousand Oaks, California, studies Materials Science Engineering, is in the Class of 2022, and has been involved in Crew for three years. Typically, they act as a rower and coxswain for Crew and aid in the instruction of other members. As the President, their position is to act as a liaison between Crew and the Director of Sport Clubs as well as making sure the officer team and coaching staff has all they need to make the team successful. 


Eli McIntire-Gavlick

Vice President

Eli McIntire-Gavlick is the Vice President for Texas A&M Crew. He is from Dripping Springs , studies Biomedical Science, is in the Class of 2022, and has been involved in Crew for a year. Typically, they act as a rower for Crew and aid in the instruction of other members. As the Vice President, their position is to handle the lodging arrangements as well as all the crew related apparel.

Srihari Menon

Treasurer

Srihari Menon is the Treasurer for Texas A&M Crew. Originally from India, he lived in Philadelphia, PA for a while before coming to College Station. He’s a graduate student in Industrial Engineering, and has been involved in Crew for a year. He’s a rower for Crew and usually rows in bow-2 position. As the Treasurer, his duties entail maintaining the ledger of Crew’s accounts, overseeing all monetary transactions and collecting dues.


Ely Pratt

Secretary

Ely Pratt is the Secretary for Texas A&M Crew. She is from Katy, Texas, studies Allied Health, is in the Class of 2023, and has been involved in Crew for a year. Typically, they act as a coxswain for Crew and aid in the instruction of other members. As the Secretary their position is to help keep the team members and events organized and running smoothly.

Grace Shelton

External Relations

Grace Shelton is the External Relations Officer for Texas A&M Crew. She is from San Angelo, TX , studies History, is in the Class of 2023, and has been involved in Crew for one year. Typically, she acts as a rower for Crew and aids in the instruction of other members. As the External Relations Officer, her position is to keep individuals up to date on what Crew has been participating in, regatta results, and future events. She also acts as a social media coordinator between past, present, and future crew mates.

Matt Parsells

Equipment Manager

Matt Parsells is the Equipment Manager for Texas A&M Crew. He is from Katy, TX, studies Electrical Engineering, is in the Class of 2022, and has been involved in Crew for 2.5 years. Typically, he acts as a rower for Crew and aids in the instruction of other members. As the Equipment Manager, his position is to ensure all of the team’s equipment is in working condition, as well as lead any and all workdays or equipment related functions. In his free time, Matt likes to play music and try not to think about school work.

David Healey

Equipment Manager

David Healey is the Equipment Manager for Texas A&M Crew. He is from Dallas, studies Economics, is in the Class of 2022, and has been involved in Crew for nine years. Typically, he acts as a rower for Crew and aids in the instruction of other members. As the equipment manager, his position is to maintain the boats, ergs, and other equipment the team uses.
