The orgs in the boat
What is the orgs in the boat?
Orgs in the Boat is a student-run sprint rowing and social event that brings together Texas A&M student organizations for a unique, team-based experience at the lake. Teams are made up of SIX student organization members rowing alongside two experienced crew members, and the cost is $20 per person. Organizations are welcome to register more than one team if they have enough interest. Teams will race in heats of four, and their 500m time will be recorded. The winning team will receive gift cards!
The event will take place on April 25th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lake Bryan. Beyond racing, Orgs in the Boat is meant to feel like a fun day out at the lake. Participants will spend the morning hanging out between races, connecting with other orgs, and enjoying music, food, and games.
All profits from this event will go towards travel and equipment costs for our team.
